Lucrările minunate ale lui J. Ottó Szatmári, care se regăsesc și pe peretele unei biserici, sunt acum disponibile pe pânză, pregătite pentru voi. Îl puteți întâlni pe artist pe 17 iunie între orele 17:00 și 19:00, dacă doriți să aflați mai multe despre munca sa. Expoziția va fi deschisă până pe 6 iulie. Program de vizitare: între orele 17:00 și 19:00. La cerere, este posibilă vizitarea și între orele 11:00 și 19:00.

Meet the artist on 17th June between 17.00-19.00 if you want to know more about his work. The exhibition will be open until 6 July. Visiting hours 5-7 pm. 🇷🇴 Cea mai recentă expoziție a lui Ottó Szatmári ne invită la un dialog între idealul umanismului renascentist și fațetele întunecate ale progresului tehnologic, prin compoziții grandioase inspirate de Michelangelo. „Întâlnirea celor de sus cu cei de jos” nu este doar o metaforă: în picturile artistului, măreția umană și lipsa de umanitate se concentrează în același spațiu. Trupul nu mai este o reflecție a perfecțiunii divine, ci un simbol al pieselor mecanice și al dorințelor robotizate. Estetica steampunk-ului se contopește cu formele Renașterii pentru a arăta că, adesea, în spatele tehnologiei moderne se ascunde deumanizarea. Lucrările lui Szatmári sunt în același timp monumentale și brutal de sincere.
🇬🇧 Ottó Szatmári’s latest exhibition invites a dialogue between the ideals of Renaissance humanism and the darker sides of technological progress, through grandiose compositions inspired by Michelangelo. The “meeting of the high and the low” is not merely a metaphor: in the artist’s paintings, human greatness and inhumanity are compressed into the same space. The body is no longer a reflection of divine perfection, but a symbol of mechanical parts and robotic desires. The visual worlds of steampunk and the Renaissance merge to show that modern technology often conceals dehumanization. Szatmári’s works are both monumental and brutally honest.
A young actor’s improvised performance for the “ Cracks in Immortality” exhibition’s closing night, a showcase of an interpretation of Michelangelo’s Last Judgement, bringing the whole topic into a new, contemporary context. This world of pain, hope, despair and resilience was definitely felt in the powerful artistic moment of David Gătejel, a scary sense of fight for life, fight for our souls, our human values. A powerful performance, echoing the whole meaning of the bigger project proposed by by J Ottó Szatmári.
