BAJKÓ ATTILA was born in Miercurea Ciuc and studied art in Timișoara and Budapest. Known to the public especially for his spectacular theatre set designs and his meticulously crafted wood paintings, remarkable for their incredible richness of detail, Bajkó Attila made a successful debut in book illustration with the volume Királylányok, Tündérek, Boszorkányok by Pápes Éva (2013), followed by The Princess and The Pigeon by John Lane (2015), Giusina, cămila de București by Andreea Micu (2019), and Ragyog a mindenség: Erdélyi gyermekvers-antológia (2021)
