Established Romanian Sculptor

Earned a degree in drawing and art history in his hometown, and then graduated in sculpture from the University of Fine Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca in 2013.

He was an art teacher and caretaker at the Reformed College in Cluj-Napoca for a year.

He is currently a freelance sculptor.

In the early 1980s, he began studying sculpture with Sándor Benczédi , then with Artúr Vetró . In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he met Miklós Sütő, a potter-ceramicist from Cluj-Napoca, who became his mentor and friend, and who taught him the techniques of terracotta making and clay firing. Later, in addition to terracotta, he turned to making marble composites. In 2009-2010, he spent two years at the Carpatica private foundry in Cluj-Napoca, where he began making small bronze sculptures. His series In the Footsteps of Our Ancestors is made of fired material. He also made commemorative plaques (for example: bronze memorial plaque of Reformed Bishop Kálmán Csiha , 2017, [ 1 ] and bronze memorial plaque of Sándor Reményik , 2018).

His work is two-fold: one is portraiture (head and relief), the other is small sculptures (terracotta, metal and composites, synthetic resins).
