Traditional Bardo verses were read to the deceased and have been practiced as part of ancient rituals in Tibetan Buddhism for millennia.
The purpose of the reading is to guide the soul of the departed, helping them navigate the uncertain transition between life and death. Through this process, lost consciousness can find its place in the cycle of reincarnation, gaining insight into the deeper aspects of existence.
The “Bardo” photo series reflects not only on death and the final moments of life but also on the fleeting nature of existence.
