Born on October 14, 1964, in Igesti, Cernăuți (Chernivtsi), in Northern Bukovina.
In 1988, he graduated from the “Alexandru Plămădeală” Republican College of Fine Arts in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova.

În anul 1988 a absolvit Colegiul Republican de Arte Plastice „Alexandru Plămădeală” din Chișinău, Republica Moldova.
În 1999 a absolvit Academia de Arte Vizuale „Ion Andreescu”, Secția Pictură, din Cluj-Napoca, România.
În perioada 2001–2003 a devenit membru titular al Uniunii Artiștilor Plastici din România, Filiala Cluj, activând totodată în filialele București și Brașov, fiind și membru al IAA AIAP UNESCO.
